Welcome to the Yahweh Jireh Pony Stud

We are a small pony stud situated in the South West of Western Australia. The stud was established in 1989 when we bred our resident stallion, Yahweh Jireh Thummim, (now for sale) from an Australian Pony mare by a Welsh section 'A' stallion. Both of these ponies were aged and from 'old' bloodlines on which we decided to build the stud. The greatest advantage of this mating is Thum's extremely quiet temperament which is the focus of our pony stud!

We believe that children's ponies should be able to be handled and ridden easily by children, which also makes them a lot of fun to own. At Yahweh Jireh our priority is to breed ponies with excellent temperaments.

In September 2001 we purchased a second stallion to put over Thum's fillies, Malibu Park Royal Doulton (now for sale). Doulton has produced some lovely ponies for us, very fine, Riding Pony types, from all types of mares, that have exceptionally quiet temperaments like their sire. Doulton is by the wonderful imported sire, Keston Royal Occasion (Imp UK dec).

Doulton's dam, Malibu Park Pirouette (dec) was herself a very successful pony in the show ring. Many of Doulton's full sibblings have now been exported to the USA & UK. Doulton is a beautiful metallic gold palomino, standing at 12.2hh. He has passed his dilute gene to around 80% of his foals, with a lot of buckskins & smokey blacks with the occasional palomino!
